MacGregor MacTec M685 forged irons are difficult to manufacture, but easy to hit.
Hosel-Face Hollow-Body design - to maintain the classic feel of one-piece forged, the 3 through 6 irons were designed with the face and hosel forged as a single structure, with the second piece back structure Plasma Welded to the front structure.
Forged carbon steel and uniform metal grain - the result is the perfect gradation from soft center to softer perimeter which creates a high-rebound clubface with a large and forgiving sweet spot.
